If your Windows desktop icons look like this:

but you want them to look like this:

then simply right click on the MyComputer icon, choose Properties, then click the Advanced tab, under Performance click the Settings button. Find Use drop shadows for icon labels and check it, click Apply. That’s all there is to it!
