How to use the printer of another computer in the house

If you have two computers in the house and one of them doesn’t have a printer but the second one does, you don’t have to run between the two of them with a thumb drive in order to get your documents printed.

You can share the printer by networking the two of your computers and this can be done by either direct cable (crossover cable connecting the two network cards), wireless connection, or router.

How to setup the printer sharing itself:
Windows XP
Windows Vista

Another option for you to connect the two computers is using Remote Desktop (providing the two of them are connected to the Internet and run Windows XP or Vista) and then re-route your printing jobs.
