Hi, running Windows XP on my machine with the free AVG which I'm trying to uninstall but for some reason can not. I want to remove AVG and get kaspersky, any ideas?

Always use Add or Remove programs (click the Start button -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs) when trying to un-install a program.

If that doesn't work for some reason then get the latest AVG installation package, run it and choose the Uninstall option.

One more thing you could try is using Revo Uninstaller which is completely free and works like a charm when trying to un-install programs.
