If you don't see the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop and your operting system is Windows Vista then:
   1. Right-click on your desktop (on an empty space) and select Personalize.
   2. Click Change desktop icons which is on the top left of the Personalization window under Tasks.
   3. Check the Recycle Bin in the Desktop Icons Settings window.
   4. Click OK.
