How to make movie from images

If you have quite a few pictures and want to make a movie using them and then post it on Youtube or send it to your friends then all you need is Picasa and a few minutes time.

The tutorial is for Picasa 3 which is the Picasa current version

1. Launch Picasa

2. Click File -> Add folder to Picasa -> Navigate to the folder that contains you pictures, select Scan once and click OK.

3. Then select the images that you want to add to your movie (Hold down the control key and click on the images).

4. Then click Create -> Movie... from the file menu. Picasa adds a frame which contains the name of your folder and the date, you can select it and press the Delete key on your keyboard to delete it.

On the left you are presented with a few options, feel free to play around with them for best results. If you want to add audio to your video under Audio Track click the Load... button and navigate to the mp3 or wma file you want to add.

5. Now click the Create Movie button, depending on the number of images you selected and the speed of your computer this might take a while.

Once the movie has been created you should be able to find it in the
...\My Documents\My Pictures\Picasa\Movies folder
(or the folder that is specified in your settings).
